Thanks Miss Wendy...We got Wesley Nov 07...He came off the track mid Oct..Before that I had never been around a greyhound...don't know if I had ever even seen a live grey.  First thing I did was buy Greyhounds For Dummies.  I am concerned as we are going on vacation this week.  My daughter will be taking care of him.  She lives with us but he is use to our routein.  Any help I can get in being a good parent would be appreciated.  Lots of questions.

Hi SB,

You did good to buy the book. Did you find it helpfull? As for me. My only advice I can give you is. While you are on vacation. Try to keep the same routine you have with your dog sitter. This way it wont throw the dog off. I know greyhound like to stay on a daily/nightly routine. What ewver it may be.

What I  find helpfull is to have a outline for anyone who is going to watch my greyhound.  For example. Right the times down for the bathroom needs/feeding and walk/play time. Plus for meal time. You will want to keep that on track also. Along with treats times.

SB, I hope this helps you out.

Miss Wendy
