My husband Dave is now at The Bridge

Sorry I have not posted sooner but there are so many things happening.  My husband David passed away on May 27, 2009 and I have been devastated.  I also had to re-home 3 of my pups which made this a double whammy.  Belle left for her new home yesterday and I am lucky she is going to be in the Pittsburgh area.  two others went back to the group.  I could now give them the care they should have and was getting burned out.  Jams was getting despondent and a few people believed she was mourning David that she needed to be in a home with a man in it.cry

Thank you.  It is so hard without David.  I called him My Big Blue Eyed Bear.  He always said I'll do it so now here I am at the age of 71 having to learn how to pump gas and a few other things that he always did.  I still have to learn how to use the attachments on the sweepers as he always moved them around

Thank you Wendy I am trying to take it one day at a time.  Of course there are days that I feel as if I can't go on anymore.  I had to give up some of my pups and am trying to get one back but they are giving me a hassle about it.  The one I am trying to get back is 13 so that is a hard age to adopt out.  Praying that they will change their minds about it.  I even told them that I would reimiburse them for all expenses that were paid out for her with a donation to the group but so far they have not said yes only no. If they would let me get her back I could make some more donations such as greyhound coats I make so that they could sell them in their store.  Praying that they will change their mind.
I have attached a picture of David when he played Santa at the Church where he worked.

Yes I heard about Stinger and can relate to you as we lost Softee April 13 and then my Big Blue Eyed Bear May 27.  I had to rehome some of the pups and am trying to get one back from the group but so far they have not let me.  I told them that I would reimburse them any money they had spent on her and I also had some donations such as a few gh coats I had made that a group is selling for $35.00 each and I even told them I would make a donation.  I had some other items that I was going to give them but no pup no more donations from me
