Dan,  I am so sorry to hear of your recent loss.  Its hard enough to lose one, let alone three.  I know how agonizing it can be.  I lost our first hound, Bo,  to fulmanent liver failure.  Both my second ,Ryce and our third, Jim,   were devastated.  Ryce mourned so badly that we finally had to put Bo's collar on him and unpack her comforters for him to lay on.  About the time Ryce was starting back to some sort of normalcy it hit the fan again bigtime.  Four weeks after Bo's crossing the bridge, My daughter found Jim on the patio unable to get up at 0630 AM.  Within 30 minutes we had him at the vet and were putting him down due to a severely injured spinal cord.  We think he slipped on the patio.  We took Ryce that day over to the kennels and let him pick out his new friend Gus.  He still mourned and went to the window everytime someone came to the house and would stand staring out the window for long periods of time seeming looking for BO and Jim.  It took us about six months to get the family back together and mentally healed.  I still miss them as tho it were yesterday but it doesn't hurt physically the way it use to.  Please feel free to talk about it when you need to.  We will listen and understand.  I can only think that our  bridge babies and yours are playing together and sharing stuffies.  Our heart hurts and cries with yours.   Hugs and droolykisses to you and your family,        Leslie, Marian, Ryce, Gus and Isabella
