Well, Holly is our second grey and after having Hippy for only a month, we KNEW we wanted another one....so we went back to Geneva Lakes and we were going to look at another hound, but we took Hippy with and made it very clear that HE was bringing Miss Holly home !! It was too funny !!! They stuck together like glue during our visit...and there were like 4 hounds in the room with us....so on December 12th, 05 Miss Holly also found a spot on our couch...and in our hearts !!!
They have a whole herd of very lucky hounds!! If it wouldn't make it more difficult for me to go with DH in his truck, I'd love to get another hound. As it is, we have to board Oreo and sneak Neba with us. It's so not fair!!! Maybe when I go this time, I'll board both of them and arrange for them to have the spa treatment while I'm gone- baths, nails, teeth, everything!
That's why we took Neba with us when we went to look at Oreo!! If she had hated him so much that she would have just about attacked him, we wouldn't have brought him home. Instead she had the attitude of "oh, so your the one coming home with us. I guess I can deal with that"!
