http://www.dgpc.com does adoptions right at the track from the sound of their site and the literature that they sent me. Their adoption fee is $150 to help cover the cost of a vet check up, neutering (both sexes), teeth cleaning, and any shots that are needed EXCEPT rabies. The rabies is your responsibility. I know that Council Bluffs Dog Park also does adoptions, but I don't know how much their fees are or anything else about them. BTW- DGPC is the Dubuque Greyhound Park and Casino in Dubuque, Iowa. Council Bluffs is in Council Bluffs, Iowa

Sounds like an idea to me!! If hubby would let me have another hound and we had to money to do it, there are 2 up there in Dubuque that I would have to choose from that I have fallen in love with by their pictures! They are both a brindle and are boys. They are both cat safe. The name of one of them in Watermelon.
