Miss Milly came as a result of opening the regular e-mail newsletter from our local adoption group Friends of Greyhounds.  Milly was being rehomed after many years with a family that was divorcing (and going through some legal issues).  She had just had surgery for a cancerous growth.  They felt that because she had some health issues and was a senior girl (will be 11 on March 5) they were looking for foster parents.  A quick discussion with my daughter and mother and an even quicker call to Michele at the adoption center and we were on our way to pick her up, sight unseen.  Isabella went with us and within a few short hours she was home to stay.
