Stinger was just taken to the vet 10 am.Because e could not stop vomitting and had major loose direah. That has been going on for 24 hours. So I felt the need to rush Stinger to the vet. It is a good thing. I did. I was not aware of how sick he is. The poor baby. The vet did some lab tests and took his temp. She found blood in stool and later the blood work results came in. Stinger has liver issues. She says he has PANCRITITIS. Oh my.... How can this be. He is vomitting up small amounts of blood and now he is pooping all blood. :criying: The vet wants us to watch him for 24 hours very closely if it gets even worse . We will have to rush him in the vet overnight. To do IV treatments. Etc....
Yes it is very scary. I hope and :pary: all works out in the long run. I will give Stinger kisses from you. But first I must wash his face it is a bit yuck from all the ick.
Oh no Wendy!!! How awful! I hope he gets better with no ill after effects. That poor baby. I can understand how worried you must be with everything we've been through here this spring! Take care of both Stinger and yourself and tell Stinger that Neba sends get well kisses.
Stinger doing much better today. I got him back from the vet today,. He had a IV for fluids. And is feeling better with the IV and his 2 meds. He is able to eat some and drink as normal. The poor guy. he had bloodwork drawn and his paw is all swollen from the needle. Nice.... Plus is is bruise from the needle. The swelling will go down in a few days.
So all in all. Stinger is on his way to recovery. In 1 week he will back to the vets for a follow up of blood work.
