My dog Simon died last month. She kept collapsing and couldn't get up. She was 11 years old. (in human years) And so now, we have gotten a new dog named Spinner! He is very cute, and is 3 years old.
Oh sweetie!! I am so sorry!! On the up side, she got to spend all those many years with you and your family. I know it doesn't make it any easier. Enjoy your new friend and know that Simon helped to bring Spinner to you! :hugs
We, too are very sorry to learn of Simone's passing. We know that you have many cherished, happy memories of her and hope that will comfort you. It is greyt that you have Spinner to carry on Simone's legacy to helping greyhounds. We hope that Spinner will bring you many smiles. May Simone run with the wind behind her ears at Rainbow Bridge!

Thanks! It makes me feel a lot better. Spinner is trouble! He steals EVERYTHING! He even tried to steal our cell phone while it was charging! He also stole a full jug on vinigar and carried it into the middle of the room! I don't know how he does it. He stole a 3 pound bag of almonds the other day. He ate some, too! turns out that almonds are toxic for dogs. So we had ot make them upchuck with this weird stuff.

What kind of new dog is Spinner ? Was it another greyhound?
I like his name Spinner. that sounds like it fits him to a T. :lol:
We're really glad that Spinner makes you smile!! It sounds like he is lots of fun but maybe needs a little supervision? Perhaps he is just trying to see how fast you move, and if you are really watching what he is doing.

Thanks, all. Spinner is another Grey, and he is one of the kennel buds. (in other words, we worked with him at the kennel. Right now, Zippy is sitting with my brother and me on the couch!
