Canine Lullabies

The Canine Lullabies CD I ordered arrived today. Dogs were unimpressed with it, but then, no one was in need of calming. I can't quite figure out why it's supposed to help, but I'll wait for the next T-storm and let you know what happens...

Let us know if it works.  I had one like it for my daughter for when she was a baby and it didn't do a thing for her.

ARGHHH! I"m not DrDoug! I'm his mom, Fourpups! Forgot to log myself in! Sorry!

Oreosmom, does that mean you don't want to buy this thing from me anymore if it doesn't work on my dog ?

I don't really expect it to work during an actual T-storm, because Zippy is pretty awfully afraid, but I'm hoping it will help with the "imaginary t-storms" that get her once t-storm season begins. She can have daily 1 1/2 hour panic attacks in lovely weather for no reason once she's been scared by the real thing a few times.

The other day when we had t-storms with sleet here in Iowa, she woke 4 times durng the next night, panting and shaking, though each time she settled again quickly. I'm thinking she was having PTS nightmares about the thunder...and I'm hoping that's the kind of thing the CD might soothe.

Oh!!! No, that doesn't mean I won't buy it from you!!!  I don't have the one from my daughter anymore, so I can't try it!!  Of course I'll give it a try.  Tonight I came home to the wonderful sound of Oreo barking and hoping that he hadn't been barking all afternoon!! (We were at a party at church).  When we left, he was laying down quietly in his crate.
