When I first adopted Stinger is racing name was/is JJ Stinger. I just shortened it by calling him Stinger. But I do have other pet names I like to call him. " Stinkey& poopey " .
When we adopted Zippy Zappy, her name was actually Zipper Zappy but somebody at the kennel wrote her name wrong so she became used to being called Zippy Zappy.
Dr. Doug was always Dr. Doug. Most of the time we just call him Doug.
Simons name was sizzlin simon but we just call her simon.
Wizards actual racing name was twilight merlin but the folks at the Kennel just called him Wizard. Wizard actually suits him more and It's much cuter if I do say so myself.
well I no longer feel silly about my hounds and their nicknames.. Gus had a racing name of Jetstar Dazzler but we changed it to Gus. He answers to anything from Gustopher Jones to Poodlehead ( cause he has a little wooden head that he knocked over a 450 pound birdbath with). Thats a whole nother story. Our little girl's race name was Kiowa Cee Carol. We changed her name to Isabella. She does however answer to Bella, Isabellybutton and Isabellarina. Have we gone too far with this?
Dis bees L'il Bullet and Ise an AKC greyhoundie pupper. Wese be limited edishuns. My offishul registration name is "Bonnie's Bullet" but since I was such a tyke, I got nicknamed "L'il Bullet". The nickname stuck, eben do Ise nots so widd anymore. My sire is Happy Joe Surfer and my dam is Hershey's Kiss. I came from Idaho.
My brudder, Murfy, whose was an Nationshunal houndie eraser, had an offishul name of "U Too Iceman". His sire was Oshkosh Slammer and his dam was U Too Cocoa. Momma and Daddy said dat his name didn't suit him, too well, spechully since he was returned to da reskue group, 2 times, and abused. When he kum to bisit and check us out, we decided to keep him. He was named after the town my skin-grandma and grandpa live in, Murphy, NC. He loves his name! It is a kewl kuntry name and just rite 4 him. Murphy and mees were adopted wifin a day ub each udder--our Gotcha Days are coming up in February.

Mydecai was his racing name and Chester was Rooftop Chester. However, Griffin was Abar Panola and when we adopted him his previous family renamed him Griffin and we just kept it.
