Greyhound attittude with all dogs

How do you get your grey to get along with other greys & non grey dogs? Stinger is being a bit of a Snob. He dosent care for type of dog. "He love people" This is real bugging me. I hate to see him and the other dogs go at it. When I bring him out for walks and to my friends house. How can I make this easier?

When mine go for a walk to read their "pee mail" they are fine.  Its other dogs that seem to have the problem.  It also may be a territorial thing at other peoples homes. We always ask before we bring a hound to someone elses house and try to arrange a meeting with their dog on neutral ground ahead of time.  That seems to have made it easier for us.

I love it pee mail.... How true.... I see your train of thought... Ive tried this and still no luck... This one female non grey rottie/dobbie mix dogs like to bug poor Stinger. They had a 5-10 min bark session and Stinger gave up barking back at her and the other one she still went on..So I had to seperate them....not good. I so wanted them to to be friends. It is my best friends dog. How long do you think it will take for them to calm down and become friends? To the point they can with stand the company of one another ?
My lord just think if they had to live together. How woulld someone pull that off....So they can live together.

Cant say for sure how long it would take.  Might do well to keep it to only walks together with your friend and her dog.  At least they are both leashed and both busy with the neighborhood "mail".  Keeping them in a neutral location together you can start walking them closer together but still have them controled and you can easily separate them if need be.  Sometimes its a matter of letting them read each others pee mail.  But the more controlled time they have together the better.  What happened to our goofy greyhound on the logo.Whats Long Island Greyhound Transfer?

Thank you again for the 411 on pee mail. You have been very helpfull.

Stored together in a neutral location, you can start taking them closer together, but still have control, if necessary, you can easily separate them.
