Found this the other day when going thru all my pic folders. These are my bridge babies all together. Some may remember Ryce, my brindle who left for the bridge in June, my elder statesman and my heartdog. His stuffie zebra is still under my pillow where my daughter put it the day he went to the bridge. Then there is Jim. He was our big fawn who had come for a sleep over and never went home. He belonged to a trainer who lived close by. Jim seemed to belong more at our house than his own. And Bo, our white baby who was my second grand dog, brought home from Lakenheath Air Force Base in the UK by my daughter. She was well known for escaping at the base and chasing the MP's bunnies. The base was built on the largest rabbit warren in England. An over abundance of cottontails was quite temptation for her. At least she never made it to the flight line. Bo lived to the ripe old age of 14. Its so sad for me to look at these pictures cause I miss each one of them but at the same time they make me so happy. BTW they were looking at a cat on the other side of the fence. Close enough to a rabbit for them!
Leslie, I feel for you. The loss of 3 greyhounds are painfull. Thank you for showing us the pictures. I love them. The bum shot is a hoot. How many greyhounds do you have now? If you do not mind my asking. My brain is on vacation and I cant recall if you have any. I am sorry.
I still have Gus who was hand picked by Ryce (brindle) on the day that Jim (fawn) died. We had lost Bo (white) 4 weeks earlier. And we still have Isabella, my little girl brindle. Below is Gus and Isabella
