Sowee abowt dat. I gots confewzed. Since I'm six an a haff, I sumtimez gets confewzed! I wish dat we were cwoser, too. Den we cood bisit wiff yoo. If my mom dinnent wub us so much, she woodn't make dem awangemints wiff da bets to keep us obernights. Maybe some time we can all gets togedder an meets. Dat wood be berry nice. Daddy sayz dat he will be home tomorrow since dey waited an waited an still coodn't find him a woad, den dey finally tole him to just go home. He's gots abowt fwee hunnert miles to go to gets home. He says dat he will be home abowt ten ocwock in da morning, but I bet he keeps going until he gets home tonight anyway!

I gots to go watch my kid eat her supper.

Hey dere ebberybuddy!!! Oweo an me were at da kennels at da bets dis wast weekend. Mom an Morgan gots to go away fur da weekend an dey weft us home!! Not fair!! Mom sayz dat pets wasn't awwowed. Anyway, I'm bak home an I fink dat I'll go takes a nap in mom's bed!! I wuz so asided to see mom dis morning!! I almos wiggeled owt ub da arms ub da person dat werks at da bets! I gabs mom eer nibbles an kisses all da way home. All Oweo cood do waz to bark all da way home. Dum boy. Turns owt he had to go pee bad. Mom let him in da howse an he wan to da bak door to go owt. He pee'd an pee'd. Must be dey hadn't gotten to him yet to go owt! Mom said dat I can go wiff her to go pick up Morgan at skool dis affernoon, too. YAY!!! Mom says dat she will put pickshures on heer ub what dey did dis weekend wader.

Hey Neba,

Comet has to go bak to da bets. But he is eating really well because Mom cooks a lot of special stuff for him. She made a huge double batch of libber brownies and all of us hab been eating them. Today she made ground turkey and cubed sweet potatoes for our dinner. It was greyt! We all got some with our kibble.

I am so glad that all of you got back from the vet's okay. Mom is going to send your Momma a email (in the morning) to your house. We can't wait to see the pictures of how things went for Michaela. We have all been wondering.

You know what? I never did get pictures on here from the October trip Morgan and I took! Whoops! Anyway, I think I have some here that I will share.

We have other pictures, too, but I didn't want to bore you! We went to a model horse show where they judge the horses according to live, real horse standards. The model has to look like the breed that you are putting it in as well as being an acceptable color for the breed. You wouldn't, for example, enter a dog show by putting a Great Dane in the Hound group as a Greyhound and hope that it would pass. You have to know what class, breed and color, etc., is acceptable. I'm working on a custom piece right now and am waiting for my paints that I need to come in. They should be here tomorrow, I hope. Then maybe over the weekend, I can get it painted if I'm not too disturbed. Otherwise, it will wait until Monday and Tuesday. I have to find my masking tape so I can tape off the white markings since I plan on making the model look like the chestnut (orange-y colored horse) in my siggy.

Oh No!! You haven't bored us with your pictures!! They are positively awesome!! Mom has been sick for a few days and it got worse and then she couldn't go up and down the stairs where the computer is. She has got to go back to the doctor for her back cause now the trouble is all thru her back, the top, the middle, and her lower back. She is real upset and stressed out by this. Plus she has been interviewing for jobs and going thru prescreening processing portions at some jobs after conditional offers, there are some many things you have to do to get a job nowadays. So, she is stressed by that, too.

It's gotten real cold here, actually down lower than 30 degrees and we've stoked the fireplace. Mom has gotten out my blanket fleece pajamas. Mom and Dad took all three of us out for a walk today, and we wore our fleece coats, snoods, and earmuffs. We stayed very warm and toasty. Pookie had a little "fofo" scarfie, too that was girlie. She was under the weather this morning and Mom fed her some rice twice this morning cause she had a bellyache.

I hope that all of you are staying warm. I'll ask Mom to help me write back much sooner. I think she is going to go back to that spechul nerb doktor for her bak again cause she is miserable again. Mom really loves your horsie pictures and says they look professional.

I wish that they were professional. They were taken with our poor cheap digital camera.
We hope that your mom feels better soon. I know I need to go have my back worked on again, but just don't have the money to do it. I feel all crooked again.
It's been quite cold here, too. Over the weekend, the lows were below zero here and last night our power for about a half an hour. Not nice!! I was sitting at the computer and all of a sudden, I was in the dark! Neba is wearing her t shirt tonight and she wore her purple jammies with the sheep on them the other day. Oreo was wearing his coat all weekend because of the cold.
You tell your mom to write to us when she can.

Aww, Auntie Michaela,
We're awful sorry dat's its colder dere den it is here. We're shivering our fannies off and it gets below thirty at night. Mom has lots of covers for us and I burrow under mine, Pookie doesn't like covers yet (Mom is gonna get her some jammies) and Murphy has covers and a blanket sleeper so Mom is gonna get that out for him. Them blanket sleepers are really warm and cheap and only cost $15 from Downtown Houndz and Murphy loves his. I chewed off the collar on mine, so Mom has to sew it back on. I prefer a more creative styling. (wink, wink)
Mom is gonna send that extra sweater she found to you for Neba. Sorry that she is so slow. Actually, she is slow going up an down the stairs and doesn't get nearly as much done as she would like. Plus, Comet got in trouble for making a mess in his housie dis morning. He just be lazy and don't bark. I am just thinking that he doesn't want to go out in the cold. But Mom says that he is gonna be punished and have to take a bath! Imagine That!! Maybe he will think twice about messing in his housie that is, if he can connect the dots together. Hmmmm, I think us greyhounds really got something on dis udder dogs.

Murphy here to send a message to Neba dat you are in my heart and I see you in my dreams when I sleep. I love sleeping by a spot near the warm fireplace. I sleep on three comfy mats near Mom and she pets me all the time. She says I am smiling when I sleep so I figure it must be because I dream of you.

You are such a sweet houndie! It's ok that your mom is slow with those stairs. Sometimes I'm slow getting around and the only stairs I have to deal with are the three steps off the front porch and once a week the five steps off the back porch for the trash. Today I opened the curtains in the living room window for the first time since about Thursday. It's nice to have some natural light in there!
Those jammies of yours sound very nice. Neba doesn't like to sleep in jammies. For the most part, she doesn't really care for clothes, but sometimes when she is shivering or looks cold I put clothes on her. And no houndie here likes baths!
Last night Neba was curled up on the couch next to me sleeping and she was actually barking in her sleep. Not the little whiney type of bark but actually barking. It was so funny! I'm guessing that she may have been dreaming about squirrels that time. Later on she was roaching in her sleep under the covers. I think that she dreams about you when she does that because she usually has a smile on her face.

Geez, Neba,

Momma is so berry tired all da time now. She has been working since February 4. The drive to work is an hour each way. She hardly has time to do anything she wants to do now. All of us houndies keeps trying to get time wif Momma when she gets home now. Momma is earning more biskie money and she has promised to get us houndies sumfin special for being so good. She said that we are going to get to go on a ride to da magic window at McDonalds tomorrow. We love to drive to dat window!!
