I could hardly believe it when I saw it!! My brother Murphy and I had our own tree last year, and Mom put it back up again for all of us houndies this year. Well, over the summer, I got a new sister named Pookie. It seems that she is very curious. Last night she tried to kill our Christmas houndie tree. She knocked the whole thing over, and the tree came out of the stand, the ornaments went flying, and the tree skirt flew around, too. Then she tried picking up the ornaments and putting them in her mouth like they were stuffies.
Murphy and I didn't know that have a sister could be such a destructive experience!! She is older than me by a couple of years, but she always wants to be in the thick of things. Even Momma and Daddy didn't get mad because she seemed to have scared herself when she knocked it over and was all confused.
Having a sister is a very interesting and entertaining experience.

Bullet!! How nice to see you back!! We have all missed you! Isn't it amazing how Pookie gets into trouble? Our Oreo is like that here. He doesn't pull the tree down, but we have to keep the bottom half of the tree basically empty of ornaments so that he doesn't take them off the tree. He likes to pull, not bite, on the lights, too. He just loves getting into those ornaments. Maybe today I will get our tree taken down. I haven't been feeling well this past week, otherwise, it would have already been taken down. It's warmer here today, too. I'll have to just take it one thing at a time. Tell Murphy that Neba says hi and sends kisses, ear nibbles and play bows and tail wags to him.
How nice to hear from you!! I am sorry to hear that you've been sick with the flu. Momma has been sick this week as well. If she doesn't get any better by Monday, then she is going to the doctors. She had to re-schedule some job interviews. But she did keep her appointments with the phone interviews and her voice is now cracking.
Pookie does get into trouble sometimes but then so do I. Momma says it's because we're still puppies. Momma and Daddy took down all the Christmas decorations today and boxed everything up to put in the storage barn. It is heated and has electricity, an office, a bathroom, and lots of workspace and a workbench. It is my favorite place to go in with Daddy. It has a big porch on the front and I can stand there and see up and down the road and everything.
Murphy is doing good but misses Neba. We hope that you get better very soon. Please watch for the postman to visit you.

Bullet, we can hardly wait!! There was a package slip in our mailbox today, but since the window was already closed for today, we will have to wait until Monday to see if it's from you! I do know that we are waiting for another package or two as well. You tell that Murphy that Neba misses him, too!

Oh boy!! Neba you sure look very cozy and adorable!! Do you keep the covers on yourself when you sleep? L'il Bullet goes under the covers and doesn't like the light in his eyes when he sleeps. Momma has been putting covers on him since he was a pup, so that's why he likes it.
Momma says that she is pretty sure the package we sent should be there no later than the beginning of the week!! I miss you ever so much!

Murfee, I do keeps dem cubbers ober my hed mose ub da time. Sumtimez I get too hot an I come owt fwum da cubbers. I also kerl up wif my mom at nite. We keep each other warm. Sometimes I even roach under da cubbers!
I got a new piece ub jewlry fur Christmas. It's a little charm fur on my cowwar and it's shaped like a crown wif little sparkly stones on it! It says Princess on it. At least dats what Mom says it says.
Now I can't wait fur dat Posty Office trip tomorrow! We will see how cold it is owt to see if I go wif Mom or not.

I had a greyt day outside. It was much warmer and sunny. Mom let me stay outside in the yard for a really long time. I laid in the sun and it felt so good. I love to sunbathe.
Bullet and Pookie took turns running in the yard today. They run around in big loops and circles. Dad says that he is going to have to re-seed the yard again. Mom said the back yard doesn't have to be perfect because its for us pups. The grass is starting to green up already and if it stays warm it will probably be only a couple of months or less before Dad is mowing again.
Mom has been under the weather with some kind of head cold. I don't think her head is cold, so why do they call it that? It seems pretty silly to me. I think that she may have to go to the doctors because she is now coughing as well. This crazy weather always makes Mom sick. Some of the flowers in the yard have gotten confused by the weather and bloomed already. Mom had irises and narcissis that have already opened up in bloom. It's the craziest thing. We can't figure out when to start seeds but Mom will probably use the greenhouse this year. It is attached to the back of the big barn outbuilding.
Oh, I was wondering if you had a sweater coat. Mom has something that she is going to send because it was given to her and she doesn't use it for Comet. She thought that you may fit into it and it could keep you warm. You sure looked toasty warm under those covers! You are so pretty that you could be a movie star!!

Momma says that she will send the sweater to your Momma for you. She thinks that it will probably fit you, since you are so petite. I am hoping so because I want you to stay warm. You really are such a little sweetie and I wish that we lived much closer.
Momma is applying for jobs and if she lands something it will help for us to have extra money to travel. I don't especially like riding in the truck, but Momma is gonna get me some medicine so it takes the edge off and I can relax. The truck has lots of room, but I get nervous traveling.

We tried one ub da puppy corns dat yoo send, but I guess none ub us were in a puppy corn mood, since we didn't finish it. Even Oreo had some and he doesn't like puppy corn! Well, actually, we sometimes get dad to gib us sum of what mom calls poppy corn (it's peeple puppy corn only wiffowt da fwavurs!).
