Hi everyone!! I'm glad I found this site!! I would love some new friends to chat with about the newest member of my family!!

I am a SAHM/WAHM mom in Colorado and this weekend we will be adopting a greyhound dog! You can see pictures and read a little more about him on my blog:

My family (dh Ron and dd Heather-5.5 years) have been wanting to adopt a racer for a few years now, but were waiting till our little girl got bigger! We started looking this summer and were excited to find a local breeder last month. We decided to go and visit (since none of us has EVER been around Greys before!) and fell in love with one of her dogs! After he completes his AKC Championship this weekend he will be officially retired and we will adopt him and bring him home! We are all so EXCITED!!

So I can't wait to look around and find out more! I've got a LOT to learn!
