Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix hot water, oil, bouillon powder and garlic powder. Add flour, cornmeal and vegetables and mix well. Knead the dough on a floured surface for a minute or two. Roll out to 1/4" thick.
Cut into shapes (I used an inverted glass dipped in flour, then cut the circle in two to make half moon shapes).
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degree for 30 minutes.
Let cool - even though your dog will probably be winding around your feet from the time you take the cookies out of the oven. Makes about 3-4 dozen cookies, depending on the size you cut. Store in the fridge, in an air tight container.
These will be getting tested on Monday night at our county fair in the dog cookie contest. Oreo and Neba say that they are worth first prize paws down!

Oreosmom that is greyt news let me know how you and they did.
Sorry, I didn't answer this sooner. I sort of forgot about it, plus with the un-necessary excitement of that night! Anyway, they were NOT a hit at the fair, I'm sorry to say. As for the dog cookie contest goes, it's back to the drawing board. That's ok, because my two liked them!
