Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park
Pets are allowed in all park locations except Sand Beach, Echo Lake Beach, Isle au Haut campground, ladder trails and inside public buildings. Must be under control and not left unattended.

State Parks
Dogs are allowed in most state parks, but are excluded specifically from Crescent Beach, Outlet Beach, Scarborough Beach (and several upland parks).

Kittery
Sea Point Beach, located in Kitterry Point, allows dogs.

I already found a couple of places that welcome dogs at their outside eating tables, a couple of pet related stores (one of them is a treat store), and the AKC Dog Museum is in St. Louis and definately welcomes leashed dogs there.  I think we are going to change our plans a little and stay an extra day!!

And our origional plans were to just go down for the Greyhound Festival on June 4th!!!  We are leaving on the 3rd, and it looks like we will be coming back on the 6th.

Stinger, you rock.  I was just complaining that we needed to find more hound friendly places to go.   They opened a high-end mall in snooty section of Miami that is dog friendly.  Most of the dogs you see there are "accessory dogs".  You know the kind, In a little dress with a rhinestone collar and Gucci tote, that looks like it should be on Valium.  Tjhey really dont like to see the big dogs.  Too bad!  Nobody said only small dogs...
